Selling sports cards in Cleveland Heights, Ohio
Cleveland Heights has always been a collector's town. Old houses, full attics, people who keep things. If you have sports cards, Pokémon, slabs, coins or comics you are ready to let go of, Money Card Auctions is a short drive east. We are a by-appointment buyer at 3637 Green Road, Suite 1B, in Beachwood. Text a photo, get an offer, book a time. Danny Grand is the buyer and he meets with every seller personally.
What Cleveland Heights sellers bring us
Sports cards first. We buy baseball, basketball, football and hockey from every era. From the Heights we see a lot of 1970s and 1980s sets, childhood binders, and the occasional real vintage find from a long-held house near Fairmount or Coventry. Modern cards are welcome too: rookies, autographs, numbered parallels, and graded slabs from PSA, BGS, SGC and CGC.
- Pokémon and other trading card games, loose or sealed
- Coins, silver and old paper currency
- Comics, especially Silver and Bronze Age issues
- Autographs and memorabilia
- Whole collections, sorted or not
How it works from Cleveland Heights
Send a few photos to (216) 260-3282. Danny replies with an honest read, usually the same day, and an offer or range when he can give one from the pictures. If it makes sense, you book a slot. Hours are Sunday through Thursday, 11:30 AM to 7 PM, by appointment only. At the appointment he goes through everything with you and pays you on the spot.
The drive is simple. Cedar Road runs straight east from Cedar-Fairmount, past Lee Road and Taylor Road, into Beachwood. Turn south on Green Road and we are between Cedar and Chagrin Boulevard. From Coventry or the Cedar-Lee area, plan on ten to fifteen minutes. From the Mayfield Road side of town, Mayfield east to Green Road and then south works just as well. No highway required, though I-271 to the Chagrin Boulevard exit is an option from the east end.
If you are clearing out a house or have more than a car's worth, Danny can come to you. He travels anywhere in Northeast Ohio for larger collections and estates. Just say so when you text.
Why Beachwood
Sellers from the Heights tell us the same thing: it is close, it is quiet, and nobody is watching. 3637 Green Road is a private office suite on a residential-scale street, not a store. There is no walk-in crowd and no counter line. You sit down with Danny Grand, see each card evaluated, and get an explanation you can follow. By appointment means your time is reserved and your collection gets full attention.
Before you come
- Bring everything. Commons, doubles, loose stacks, binders and sealed product. Do not sort out what you think is junk.
- Do not clean, erase, press or trim any card. Alterations are easy to spot and reduce value.
- Leave graded cards in their slabs and bring any grading paperwork.
- Old price guides, lists or receipts are helpful but not needed.
- Bring a photo ID. We record every purchase.
