How it works from Shaker Heights
Text a photo or two to (216) 260-3282. Danny looks at it and texts back an honest take, usually the same day. If it is worth a visit, you book a slot. We are open Sunday through Thursday, 11:30 AM to 7 PM, by appointment only. At the appointment he goes through the cards with you, explains what he sees, and pays you before you leave.
The drive is one of the easiest in the east suburbs. From the Van Aken District, take Chagrin Boulevard east to Green Road and turn north. From Shaker Square or the Lee Road area, Shaker Boulevard east runs straight to Green Road, right where the Green Line Rapid ends. Either way you are looking at five to fifteen minutes depending on where in Shaker you start, with no highway needed. If you prefer the freeway, I-271 to the Chagrin Boulevard exit puts you a few minutes from our door.
For a large collection or an estate, you do not have to pack the car. Danny can come to your home in Shaker Heights or anywhere in Northeast Ohio. Mention it in your text.

Shaker sellers like that we are close, quiet and private. 3637 Green Road is an office suite, not a retail shop. There is no counter, no crowd and no one else in the room. Every appointment is one-on-one with Danny Grand, so you can ask questions, watch the evaluation and take your time. By appointment means your collection is handled once, carefully, and you are not left standing around. Parking is easy and the street is low-traffic.
Before you come
- Bring all of it, including commons, doubles, partial sets and anything you think is worthless. We would rather see too much than too little.
- Do not clean, erase, flatten or trim cards. Condition is judged as found, and alterations hurt value.
- Keep graded cards in their slabs. Bring any grading receipts or population paperwork you have.
- If the collection belonged to someone else, bring whatever notes or lists came with it.
- Bring a photo ID.
